We’re very excited to announce that MLH is teaming up with Solana LabsThis Spring, as part of our Open Source Track, the MLH Fellowship is looking for 10 fellows to work on Solana blockchain projects.  These fellows will learn blockchain development and contribute to the various Solana technologies with the help of a mentor and in a group of their peers. All fellows will “earn while they learn” and get a stipend throughout the program. After, fellows will have the opportunity to interview for roles with Solana Ecosystem companies.

“This is truly a ‘learn by doing’ opportunity for developers who have been interested in the Solana ecosystem or even interested in blockchain tech but don’t know how to get started. Fellows will have direct access to experienced Solana devs, and the entire Solana Ecosystem will benefit. I’m really excited to see this come to life.

Chase Barker, Developer Relations Lead @ Solana Labs

Applications are open and will be accepted until Monday, January 17 at 11:59pm ET, and the program beings on Monday, January 31. We encourage everyone to apply, but are especially seeking applicants with experience writing TypeScript/JavaScript or lower level languages such as Rust, C, or C++.  Apply here!

And if you can’t be a part of the Spring program, don’t worry! We have more Solana projects cued up for our Summer program, too.

If you have any questions, feel free to send them over to fellowship@mlh.io.
