The MLH Production Engineering Fellowship, powered by Facebook provides an opportunity for 100 aspiring software engineers to broaden their skills and career options. Learn important production engineering and DevOps skills over the course of a 12-week paid educational program built on the content from the Linux Foundation.


Production Engineering is a hybrid between software and systems engineering. Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps keep sites like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp running smoothly and scaling efficiently. The Production Engineering Track starts in June, and guarantees an educational stipend to each participant. Applications are open now until May 28, 2021. Eligible students are rising sophomores or juniors who are United States, Mexico, or Canada based, enrolled in a 4-year degree-granting program, and able to code.
